The Union County Yellowjackets volleyball team (Union, SC), was dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC)

The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 18. Union County will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).
