In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Pleasant Valley Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Ponderosa Bruins.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Raging Rhinos come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Bruins encounter the Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 29. Ponderosa will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
