New Oxford Colonials (New Oxford, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team nudge the visiting York Catholic Fighting Irish (York, PA), 1-0 in a non-league outing.

The Colonials (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Fighting Irish now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bermudian Springs for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26.
