With the triumph, Nelson County moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Sayre (Lexington, KY) to play the Spartans in a non-league outing on Monday, August 18. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Sayre won 6-1 in their recent non-league outing against Frankfort Christian Academy (Frankfort, KY)
