Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY), 5-2 in a non-league outing.

The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against North Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, North Laurel got by Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY), 9-1, in a league test.

The Titans now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 20. Mercer County will clash with a Admirals team coming off a 1-1 non-league Frankfort (Frankfort, KY). The Admirals record now stands at 1-1.
