The Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) soccer overwhelmed the visiting River View Black Bears (Warsaw, OH), 4-0 in Monday's league challenge.
The Scotties now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Muskingum for a Muskingum Valley challenge on Wednesday, August 20. Tri-Valley will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH). The Tornadoes record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, River View moves to 0-2 on the year. The Black bears host Maysville (Zanesville, OH) to battle the Panthers in a Muskingum Valley battle on Wednesday, August 20. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 0-2. Maysville lost 2-0 in their recent league battle against Sheridan (Thornville, OH)
