The South Mecklenburg Sabres smashed the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks soccer team by a tally of 6-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Sabres now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Weddington for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 20. South Mecklenburg will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Marvin Ridge falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to face the Pumas in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Palisades 3-3 in their recent non-league bout against Olympic (Charlotte, NC)
