Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grant improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lancers host Poly (Sun Valley, CA) to face the Parrots in a test on Thursday, September 4. The Parrots go into the test with a record of 1-0. Poly won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Narbonne (Harbor City, CA)

The Hunters now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Verdugo Hills for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 22.
