Next, the Cougars face the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 21. Conner will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Thoroughbreds go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Villa Madonna (Covington, KY).
