In Monday's non-league test, the host Carmel Greyhounds soccer team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Pike Red Devils.
With the triumph, Carmel advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Red Devils now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Westfield for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. Pike will play a Shamrocks squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Fishers (Fishers, IN). The Shamrocks record now stands at 0-2.
