In Monday's non-league outing, the host Lake-Lehman Knights soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Pittston Patriots.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Wyoming Valley West by Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 20. Pittston will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
