In Monday's non-league test, the host Southwestern Spartans soccer team scored a close 4-1 triumph over the Trinity Lutheran Cougars.
With the triumph, Southwestern moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Shawe Memorial (Madison, IN) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. The Hilltoppers go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
