Next, the Indians clash with the Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) in a 2A Region 7 test, on Thursday, August 21. Murray County will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Phoenix go into the test with a 5-3 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Bremen (Bremen, GA).

The Wolverines now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Gordon Central for a 1A D-I Region 7 contest on Tuesday, August 19. Dade County will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Darlington (Rome, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.
