Georgia High School Softball - Spalding drops to Lamar County

August 18, 2025: Griffin, GA 30224

Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA), 12-0 in a non-league match.

The Trojans (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 6-1 record.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) in a 3A Region 2 match, on Tuesday, August 19. Spalding will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 15-0 league loss to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA).
