The Providence Christian Academy Storm softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Landmark Christian War Eagles to 1 in the Storm non-league win on Monday.

The Storm now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rabun County for a 1A D-I Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, August 19. Providence Christian Academy will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.

The War Eagles (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Wolves go into the 1A D-I Region 5 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Wesleyan achieved victory over North Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 8-5, in a non-league outing.
