Tennessee High School Volleyball - Copper Basin can't hold off McMinn Central

The McMinn Central Chargers tipped the visiting Copper Basin Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Chargers confront the Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN) in a AA District 5 game, on Thursday, August 21. McMinn Central will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, TN).

The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (Chattanooga, TN). The Mustangs enter the A District 4 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy was tipped by Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN), 3-0, in a league game.
