North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Stanly tips East Rowan

August 18, 2025: Salisbury, NC 28146

In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting North Stanly Comets volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the East Rowan Mustangs.

With the win, North Stanly improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Comets host Carson (China Grove, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 20. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 6-2. Carson won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

The Mustangs now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Lake Norman Charter for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 19. East Rowan will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
