The Airport Eagles football team (West Columbia, SC), was beaten 19-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Swansea Tigers (Swansea, SC)
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Gators come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, River Bluff knocked off Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC), 42-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brookland-Cayce for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 26. Airport will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 62-7 non-league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-1.
