The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) and the visiting Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), observed Brantley County's football squad thwart Atkinson County by a tally of 34-6.

The Herons now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Groves for a non-league contest on Friday, August 26.
