The Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) football defeated the host Berea-Midpark Titans (Berea, OH), 43-20 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets face the North Royalton Bears (North Royalton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 26. Highland will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 21-7 non-league win over Westlake (Westlake, OH).
