The Blount Leopards football team (Eight Mile, AL), was tipped 7-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Vigor Wolves (Prichard, AL)
The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rain (Mobile, AL). The Red Raiders come into the 5A Region 1 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Rain was tipped by Excel (Excel, AL), 22-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Leopards now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Spanish Fort for a 6A Region 1 challenge on Friday, August 26. Blount will meet a Toros team coming off a 34-28 non-league loss to Fairhope (Fairhope, AL). The Toros record now stands at 0-1.
