    • North Carolina High School Football - Charlotte Catholic victorious over South Mecklenburg

    August 19, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28226

    In Friday's non-league match, the host Charlotte Catholic Cougars football squad scored a good 36-25 victory over the South Mecklenburg Sabres.

    In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 26. Charlotte Catholic will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Ragin' Bulls enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 45-0 non-league win over Huss (Gastonia, NC).

    The Sabres (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Providence dropped by Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC), 21-0, in a non-league match.
