The Hamlin Chargers walloped the visiting Florence/Henry Flyers football team by a count of 42-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Hamlin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers host St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD) to encounter the Cardinals in a Dakota Valley (9 Man) outing on Friday, August 26. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 1-0. St. Mary won 52-20 in their recent non-league outing against Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD)

With the loss, Florence/Henry moves to 0-1 on the season. The Flyers host Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD) to encounter the Braves in a Eastern Coteau (9 Man) outing on Friday, August 26. The Braves go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Britton-Hecla won 44-36 in their recent league outing against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD)
