The Ruidoso Warriors thwarted the visiting Gadsden Panthers football team by a count of 20-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Ruidoso upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Portales (Portales, NM) to encounter the Rams in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 25. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Portales won 31-16 in their recent non-league outing against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)

With the loss, Gadsden moves to 0-1 on the season. The Panthers host El Paso (El Paso, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, August 26. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
