California High School Football - Golden Valley drops to Newbury Park

In Friday's non-league game, the Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) football team knocked off the host Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA), by a final score of 30-0.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA). The Royals come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, El Camino Real was dropped by Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA), 35-19, in a non-league game.

The Grizzlies now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Antelope Valley for a non-league game on Friday, August 26. Golden Valley will play a Antelopes squad coming off a 50-0 non-league loss to Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA). The Antelopes record now stands at 0-1.
