North Carolina High School Football - Heide Trask succumbs to Topsail

The Topsail Pirates thwarted the host Heide Trask Titans football team by a count of 20-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Topsail upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates host Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 0-1.

With the loss, Heide Trask moves to 0-1 on the season. The Titans travel to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Friday, August 26. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Hobbton won 40-32 in their recent non-league outing against Midway (Dunn, NC)
