Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), 28-7 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Union Pines improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to confront the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, August 26. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-0. Gray's Creek won 35-34 in their recent non-league test against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)

With the loss, Montgomery Central drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Thomasville (Thomasville, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, August 26. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-0. Thomasville won 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
