Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas County Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20.

With the loss, Bainbridge falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Wayne County (Jesup, GA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 19. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Wayne County won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)
