The Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO) softball routed the host Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO), 18-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lobos (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO). The Bruins go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Cherry Creek toppled Mountain View (Loveland, CO), 15-0, in a non-league bout.

The Rams now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Thompson Valley for a non-league bout on Friday, August 19. Rampart will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Mountain View (Loveland, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
