The Americas Trail Blazers topped the visiting Lubbock Westerners volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Trail Blazers now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crane for a non-league test on Friday, August 19. Americas will confront a Cranes team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Trinity (Midland, TX). The Cranes record now stands at 4-5.
The Westerners (4-9) will now prepare for their test against St. Michael's (Austin, TX). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, St. Michael's gained a win over Manor (Manor, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
