The Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) volleyball overcame the host Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Steele upgrades its record to 7-11 on the year. The Knights travel to Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX) to face the Rangers in a non-league outing on Friday, August 19. The Rangers go into the outing with a record of 11-3. Vista Ridge lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Langham Creek (Houston, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to O'Connor for a non-league outing on Friday, August 19. Bowie will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-1.
