Texas High School Volleyball - Rockwall-Heath can't hold off Coronado

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Coronado Thunderbirds volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Rockwall-Heath Hawks.

The Thunderbirds (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Cougars come into the 6A Region I District 1 battle with a 17-4 record. In their last battle, Franklin nudged Reagan (San Antonio, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 20. Rockwall-Heath will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 12-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX).
