California High School Volleyball - Del Norte can't hold off Otay Ranch

August 19, 2022: San Diego, CA 92127

In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Otay Ranch Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Del Norte Nighthawks.

The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Eastlake nudged Bishop's (La Jolla, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Nighthawks clash with the Pacific Ridge Firebird (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 20. Del Norte will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Firebird come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA).
