The Hughes Springs Mustangs topped the visiting Winona Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arp for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. Hughes Springs will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.
The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Grapeland (Grapeland, TX). The Sandies enter the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Grapeland was knocked off by Edgewood (Edgewood, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
