In Friday's non-league battle, the host Rains Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wills Point Tigers.
The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Sulphur Springs achieved victory over Commerce (Commerce, TX), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 20. Wills Point will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Brook Hill (Bullard, TX).
