In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Cascade Cadets soccer squad scored a close 3-1 win over the Beech Grove Hornets.
The Cadets (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Western Boone (Thorntown, IN). The Stars go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Western Boone by Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN), 4-0, in a league battle.
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers go into the Indiana Crossroads battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Triton Central nipped Connersville (Connersville, IN), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
