Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Braves confront the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 22. Bellmont will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.

The Indians now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crown Point for a Duneland challenge on Tuesday, August 22. Lake Central will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
