In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Lakewood Park Christian Panthers soccer squad scored a close 7-2 win over the West Noble Chargers.
The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Monroeville, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Heritage nipped Jay County (Portland, IN), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Chargers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Angola (Angola, IN). The Hornets enter the Northeast Corner contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Angola was overwhelmed by DeKalb (Waterloo, IN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
