In Saturday's non-league match, the host Grants Pirates football squad scored a good 38-21 victory over the Laguna Acoma Hawks.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 28. Grants will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 22-12 non-league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM).
The Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Silverbacks enter the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
