In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Daviess County Panthers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Murray Tigers.
The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators go into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Greenwood was nudged by Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Marshals go into the District 2 battle with a 3-3 record.
