Indiana High School Soccer - New Prairie nudges Michigan City

August 19, 2023: New Carlisle, IN 46552

New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 22. New Prairie will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.

The Wolves now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Chesterton for a Duneland challenge on Wednesday, August 23. Michigan City will confront a Trojans team coming off a 4-0 league win over La Porte (La Porte, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
