The Decatur Bulldogs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Lakeside Vikings to 8 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Decatur improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA) to clash with the Rams in a 5A Region 4 game on Tuesday, August 22. The Rams come into the game with a record of 1-1. Arabia Mountain won 14-2 in their recent non-league game against Mays (Atlanta, GA)

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Dunwoody Wildcats (Dunwoody, GA) in a 6A Region 4 game, on Tuesday, August 22. Lakeside will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA).
