The Alexander Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nixon for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 22. Alexander will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-6.

The Fighting Owls (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Teague (Teague, TX). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Teague dropped by Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
