In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Bell County Bobcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Barren County Trojans.
The Bobcats (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Laurel (London, KY). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, South Laurel lost by Bell County (Pineville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 21. Barren County will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to White House (White House, TN).
