In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Bay Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pascagoula Panthers.
The Tigers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS). The Red Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS) in a Class 5 Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, August 22. Pascagoula will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Bearcats come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Vancleave (Vancleave, MS).
