The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Beacon Hill Gryphon (Camarillo, CA), saw Sacred Heart of Jesus's volleyball squad beat Beacon Hill by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Sacred Heart of Jesus upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Comets travel to Maywood CES (Maywood, CA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Maywood CES lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA)

The Gryphon now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ojai Valley for a Omega bout on Thursday, September 14.
