The Valley Christian Defenders prevailed the visiting Burroughs Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Defenders now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host California for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 22. Valley Christian will confront a Condors team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Sonora (La Habra, CA). The Condors record now stands at 0-2.
The Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Monrovia (Monrovia, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Monrovia dropped by Walnut (Walnut, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
