The Calhoun Sandcrabs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mineral Wells Rams to 1 in the Sandcrabs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Sandcrabs now have a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calallen for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 22. Calhoun will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.

The Rams (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Thrall (Thrall, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 9-0 record. In their last game, Thrall held off Maypearl (Maypearl, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
