The Cardinals (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Clarksville (Clarksville, TN). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Clarksville achieved victory over Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 19. Daviess County will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY).
