In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Decatur Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lamar Vikings.

The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Prosper (Prosper, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Prosper achieved victory over Coronado (Lubbock, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 22. Lamar will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Bearcats come into the battle with a 12-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Highland Park (Dallas, TX).
